Since life is experienced best in community what better way to experience life as God intended than in community with His people? We have some amazing small groups that meet at different times during the week who enjoy “doing life together” through fellowship/bible studies and by serving others throughout the community.
What We Believe
Here at FBC Soperton, our spiritual values are non-negotiable. While culture, trends, and styles change, our values don’t. In Matthew 28:19-20 – the Great Commission – Jesus not only gave us the purpose of the church but also the values we should promote as the body of Christ:
“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
Therefore, what we’re all about at FBC Soperton is summed up by the following vision statement, based on the Great Commission, the very purposes of the church, and the values we hold dear. Our heart-felt desire as a body of growing believers is to be:

Our Ministry Leaders
Bro. Chad began at FBC Soperton in 2019. He and his wife, Whitney, have been married for over 20 years and they have one son, JT. Chad and Whitney enjoy following JT around in his various sport activities. Chad is passionate in advancing God’s kingdom as he seeks to point others to Jesus and is excited to be a part of God’s work in Treutlen County and beyond.
Natalie Beall has served at FBC Soperton since 1999. She is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Music in 1996. She and her husband, Jeremy, were married in 1998 and have two sons, Griffin (married to Gracie) and Collin (married to Emma). Natalie enjoys leading worship here each week and writing songs for the church that uplift and praise our holy God. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve in our Children’s Ministry and work with all of our wonderful volunteers.
Griffin Beall has grown up here at FBC Soperton…literally! He joined the church staff in 2019 and was ordained here in September 2023. Griffin ministers to middle school, high school, and college students. He recently completed his Christian Studies degree from Brewton-Parker College and is currently working on his seminary degree. He enjoys playing drums in our worship services and spending time with his wife, Gracie, and their dogs, Winston and Finn.
